Banner Factory - manual

Download a fully functioning, free of charge, try-before-you-buy installation kit. (86k) and take a look at the samples.

Prepare your banner images. Use .jpg (JPEG) and/or .gif image file formats only.

Create new image folder(s) in the same folder and put in it (them) all your banner images. Make sure that all your image files are there.

Copy and paste config_file.txt into any image folder.

Copy and paste banner.jar into your web page folder. Make sure your web pages and banner.jar are there.

Open your web page. Copy and paste the follow code into your page there where you would like to show the applet. Save the changes on your page!

Open your configuration file and customize the applet as showed in the sample configuration file. Make sure that all your image file names and image file extensions are spelling correct. Be careful, the file names, and applet settings are case-sensitive.

Save the changes on your configuration file and launch your web page locally to make sure the applet works correct.

If you have applied the applet successfully you can upload all the required files in your web server where you are hosting your site.

NOTE: Just uploading the .html document with the correct code will not work. You have to upload banner.jar , your configuration file and your image folder along with all images files in it into the server, too.
